The adventures began
in 1982, when Shearwater Adventures first paddled down the Zambezi
on an overnight canoe safari through Mana Pools. From humble beginnings,
Shearwater has gone from strength to strength and is now the leading
adventure activity company in Africa.
Shearwater is an environmentally friendly and non-consumptive operation.
We produce no emissions, are ecologically sound and are in full compliance
with respective National Parks regulations.
Our mission at Shearwater is to provide customers with an adventure
experience that exceeds their expectations and gives them lots to
