Gorge Rescues

The Zambezi Helicopter Company provides a helicopter service to the Medical Air Rescue Service for all its search and rescue operations. They are on call 24-hours a day so certain flights might be cancelled at late notice.

Casevacs (casualty evacuation) is undertaken when life-threatening situations arise with an on board trauma team.
Medevac to either local base hospital or further afield depending on circumstances.
